A man in Gloucester kicked cars and assaulted people, leading to his arrest by police. The incidents occurred on Park Road and All Saints Road.
Gloucester: An aggressive man was reported kicking cars and attacking people. This happened on Park Road in the Barton area around 10:35 AM on Tuesday.
Witnesses said he was kicking and punching cars. A woman got out of her car to confront him but ended up getting punched in the face.
Police received another call around 11 AM. A man matching the same description tried to steal a phone from someone on All Saints Road. The victim resisted and was also punched.
Gloucestershire Police arrested a 25-year-old man from Gloucester. He faces charges of assault, assaulting a police officer, criminal damage, and possession of cannabis. He has been released on bail while investigations continue.
Inspector Ash Gardner from the Gloucester Neighbourhood Policing Team said they received multiple reports of the man’s aggressive behavior. Officers quickly arrived and made the arrest.
He reassured the Barton and Tredworth communities that such behavior won’t be tolerated. The police will act swiftly against anyone causing fear in the area.
