Hey, Gloucestershire might get wintry soon! The BBC says there could be sleet. That’s happening all across the area on Monday, February 10. The Cotswolds might even see a little snow.

It will get colder overnight with freezing temps. Daytime highs will only be in the single digits, and winter’s cold weather will stick around. This is a change from the recent rain and wind.

The BBC’s forecast says we might see snow before Monday. Friday could have mist and fog in the morning. The skies will stay mostly cloudy, and light rain will move in from the south. It will also be breezy.

Rain will keep coming on Saturday, and it could turn to snow and sleet on hills. Sunday looks cloudy with some sunny spots, but don’t rule out a bit of rain then.

Here’s the sleet forecast from the BBC for Monday: Gloucester gets sleet 7am-10am and it returns 10pm-1am Tuesday. Cheltenham has sleet 7am-11am and 8pm-1am Tuesday.

Tewkesbury expects sleet 7am-11am, plus 10pm-1am. Stroud will see sleet 7am-11am and 7pm-1am. Stow-on-the-Wold gets sleet 7pm-11pm, then they get snow 11pm-midnight, and sleet until 3am Tuesday. Coleford sees sleet 7am-1pm, with more sleet coming 10pm-midnight.

The Met Office isn’t predicting sleet for Gloucestershire. However, the West Country could see wintry showers, lasting from Friday to Sunday. They say snow is possible elsewhere in the UK and that forecast covers the coming weeks.
