The former Dobbies site near Gloucester is set to reopen under new ownership, bringing back beloved family attractions like a carvery, soft play, and mini golf.
The new owners plan to open a carvery, which many locals are excited about. They’ve kept the previous staff and are hiring more people.
Kids will be happy too! The soft play area and mini golf will return. These were popular attractions at Dobbies.
Iain King, the Operations Director, confirmed that both the soft play and mini golf will be part of the new plans.
This new addition makes 67 sites for British Garden Centres. The Gloucester branch is expected to open by the end of February.
Charles Stubbs, the founder, expressed excitement about adding Gloucester to their portfolio. He believes it will help the centre thrive and grow.
They’re eager to welcome back old customers and meet new ones. It’s a big step for British Garden Centres as they become the largest garden centre group in the UK.
