Moreton Valence: Early Friday morning, firefighters were busy tackling a big fire. It happened at an industrial site in Gloucestershire. Storm Eowyn was making things tricky with strong winds.

The fire started around 1:25 AM. Five fire engines rushed to the scene. They came from Stroud, Gloucester North, Gloucester South, and Dursley. The flames were fierce, covering a 20m by 20m area.

Residents were advised to keep their doors and windows shut. The smoke was blowing towards homes, and safety was a priority. Thankfully, no buildings were damaged.

Fire crews used three hose reels and 12 breathing apparatus sets to fight the blaze. Sadly, the fire destroyed all the recycled electrical appliances involved.

They finally got it under control by 5:19 AM. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. For updates on the weather and traffic, check out the live blog.
