A vacant retail unit in Grimsby will soon become a fun role play centre for kids, creating jobs and excitement in the community.
Grimsby: A new children’s role play centre is on the way. The old Tile Giant store has been empty for over a year. Now, Adventure Village Grimsby Ltd is stepping in.
They got the green light to turn the space into a fun place for kids. No big changes to the building are planned. It’s expected to create five jobs, including one full-time position.
Inside, there will be a mini town with shops and a café. Kids can dress up and play pretend. Sounds like a blast, right? There will also be a small kitchen for snacks and drinks.
During planning, they mentioned it was tough to find a suitable spot in the town centre. But this location seems perfect for their vision.
In other news, Knauf UK is planning new welfare and training buildings at their Immingham factory. They want to improve facilities for staff and visitors.
Also, a new home has been approved in Scartho. It’s a smaller development, and the garden will return to its original size. Neighbors had some concerns, but it seems manageable.
Lastly, Laceby Manor Golf Course is expanding. They got approval to remove a time limit on lodge occupancy, making it a more attractive holiday spot.
Exciting times ahead for Grimsby and the surrounding areas!
