A man was shot and a woman injured in Gloucester, prompting police to investigate and seek witnesses for more information.
The police got a call around 9 PM about a man in his 40s who had been shot. He was rushed to the hospital and stayed there overnight. The woman who was injured has since been released.
Authorities are searching for three suspects who rode two motorcycles to the scene. The shooting took place outside a home on Stanway Road. So far, no arrests have been made.
A scene guard is up while the investigation continues. Officers want to hear from anyone who saw the motorcycles or has any CCTV or dashcam footage.
Detective Inspector Paula Hannaford expressed concern about the incident. She said it’s troubling that a gun was fired in the community. The police are determined to find those responsible.
