A man has been sentenced to life in prison for the brutal murder of his girlfriend, fueled by jealousy and false accusations of infidelity
Gloucester: A tragic story unfolded when Tanaka Zivanai, 32, killed his girlfriend, Zanele Sibanda, 28. He thought she was cheating on him, which led to a horrific confrontation.
This all happened on August 27 last year. They were in the Tredworth area, and it was early morning. Witnesses were shocked as they saw the attack unfold.
During the court hearing, it was revealed that their relationship had been rocky. Zivanai often accused Sibanda of infidelity, leading to heated arguments.
On the night of the murder, neighbors heard shouting and saw the couple arguing in the street. It escalated quickly, and Zivanai attacked her with a knife.
Witnesses described the scene as chaotic. One neighbor even called the police after seeing Zivanai stab Sibanda multiple times.
