Grimsby: A beloved swan named Sid has passed away after a dog attack. He lived at Healing Manor for over eight years and was loved by everyone.
Sid was known for his playful personality. He often stole food from guests and loved hanging around. His antics brought smiles to many faces.
Last month, staff had to rescue Sid from the water after the dog attacked him. Volunteers from Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue rushed him to the vet for urgent care.
Sadly, Sid’s injuries were too severe for recovery. He was remembered as an icon of Healing Manor, bringing joy and laughter to all who met him.
Recently, volunteers returned to Healing Manor to lay Sid to rest. They also gifted a lifesize cut-out of him to keep his memory alive.
Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue shared on social media how much Sid meant to everyone. They encouraged people to share their memories and photos of him.
