A man has pleaded not guilty to charges related to items found at Boris Johnson’s wedding venue, including spray paint and drugs, during a court hearing.
Gloucestershire: A man named Tim Speers is in some legal trouble. He’s accused of having items that could damage property at Boris Johnson’s wedding party venue. This happened on July 29, 2022, just before the big celebration.
Speers, who lives in Bude, Cornwall, is also facing charges for having cannabis and another drug called Etizolam. He appeared in Southwark Crown Court in London and pleaded not guilty to everything.
The wedding celebration took place at Daylesford Estate, owned by Anthony Bamford. It’s a beautiful place with a Georgian manor and lots of countryside. The Johnsons had set up marquees and hay bales for their guests.
During the court hearing, Speers wore a white jumper and grey trousers. After entering his pleas, he expressed eagerness for the trial, saying he can’t wait. He was released on bail until his trial, which is set for September 7, 2026.
