Two men were arrested after an alkaline substance was sprayed during a fight outside a Grimsby pub. Police are seeking information from the public.
Grimsby: Two men were arrested after an incident outside a pub. They allegedly sprayed an alkaline substance during a fight.This happened last Wednesday around 8:40 PM on Bethlehem Street. Police responded to reports of a brawl involving four men. One man reportedly sprayed the substance at two others.
The arrested men, aged 19 and 18, were suspected of grievous bodily harm. They have been released without charges.
Police cordoned off the area around the Yarborough Hotel Wetherspoons pub. A scene guard was also set up.
Humberside Police are asking anyone with information to reach out. They want to hear from anyone who saw what happened.
