Gloucestershire: Temperatures are dropping below freezing this week. The UK is facing another cold spell. Snow could even make an appearance by mid-February.

The Met Office reports a high-pressure system moving in. This means colder weather is on the way. Temperatures will fall by the end of the week after some wet and windy days.

In Gloucestershire, expect overnight lows of -2°C by Wednesday. Freezing nights will last until at least Monday. Daytime highs will struggle to reach double figures, only hitting 3°C on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Today, there might be some rain in Gloucestershire. But the rest of the week looks bright with plenty of sunshine. The weekend, however, is expected to be overcast.

Frank Saunders, the Met Office Chief Meteorologist, advises caution. Despite a pleasant week ahead, temperatures may dip again over the weekend. This could bring snow and ice.

Weather forecaster Exacta Weather also predicts colder conditions. Between February 8-15, we might see widespread snow across the country. Confidence in this forecast is growing.
