Grimsby: Heads up, folks! The M180 is going to be closed overnight for almost three weeks. Starting January 21, the westbound side will shut down from 8 PM to 6 AM.

This closure will last until February 8. They’re doing some serious repairs, including fixing concrete and bridge joints. Expect some single lane closures during the day too, so be careful out there.

A spokesperson from National Highways mentioned they’ll be replacing concrete bays and fixing cracks. They’re also resurfacing the area near the River Trent bridge.

This work is super important to keep the road safe for everyone. Diversions will be set up, directing traffic to the M181 and A18. If you’re heading west, you might need to take the A161 instead when the M180 junction 2 slip is closed.

Stay safe and plan your routes ahead of time!
