Crowle: Big news! More than 100 new homes could be popping up soon. Two applications have been submitted to the North Lincolnshire Council for this exciting project.

One plan includes 41 homes on land north of Godnow Road, near Crowland Road. The other seeks full planning permission for 73 homes at Fieldside Nurseries, close to St Norbert’s Catholic Primary School.

These plans have been tweaked a bit since last year. Instead of just 20 percent being affordable, now all the homes will be affordable. That’s a win for the community!

In total, there will be a mix of homes: 31 two-bed homes, including five bungalows, 41 three-bed homes, and one four-bed home. Plus, there’s a small park planned with a play area and a pond.

The 41 homes off Godnow Road are a fresh application from Hoober Homes Ltd. They want to build on some empty industrial land. This development will include 11 two-bed, 24 three-bed, and six four-bed homes, with eight set aside as affordable housing.

There will also be a public space at the center of the development, accessible via a two-way road. The planning documents say this project will create a “high quality and attractive development.”

All together, these plans could bring 114 new homes to Crowle, with 81 of them being affordable. Exciting times ahead for the community!
