One person is seriously hurt after a traffic incident in Leicester. The incident caused traffic problems throughout Friday.
The crash occurred around 8:45 PM on Thursday and involved a red electric car, a BYD Aatto 3 model. This happened near the Boost trampoline place on St Georges Way.
Police said one passenger is in serious condition; this person was sitting in the back seat. The driver and two other people had minor injuries.
The road stayed closed for quite a while, and traffic was bad during rush hour, affecting the Highfields area. Later, repairs made traffic slow again with temporary lights causing more delays.
The police haven’t arrested anyone yet and are now asking the public for help and more information about the accident. Adam Bancroft is the detective working the case, and he said the car was heading north toward the A47 roundabout.
