A Gloucester man has been banned from causing distress to his neighbors after years of crime and anti-social behavior
In just the past year, there have been 56 reported crimes linked to his home. These include violent acts, drug use, and even allowing sex work. His actions have really upset the people living nearby. They’ve faced threats, shouting, and fights right outside their homes.
The court issued the injunction on November 28 last year, and it lasts until the same date this year. If he breaks any rules, he’ll be arrested. The injunction specifically tells him not to cause any alarm or distress to anyone in Gloucester.
He’s also banned from using violence or foul language, keeping illegal drugs, or letting anyone else bring drugs to his property. Basically, he can’t have any drugs on him in public either.
PC Jonathan Hemming mentioned that Marshall’s actions have caused a lot of distress over the years. This injunction should help improve life for the residents. They take reports of anti-social behavior seriously and will act on them.
Solace Officer Joe Mullis added that they’ve tried to help Marshall before, but he just kept causing problems. His behavior has really affected the Wellington Street area. The court’s decision is meant to give the community some much-needed relief.
Gloucestershire Police are urging anyone who sees Marshall breaking the order to report it. They want to keep the community safe and ensure that this kind of behavior isn’t tolerated anymore.
