Gloucester: A meeting is set for January 30 to discuss a safe pedestrian crossing on Lobleys Drive. This busy road has become a concern for local residents.
The meeting will take place at the Coopers Edge Community Centre at 7 PM. Everyone is welcome to join and share their thoughts.
More than 600 people signed a petition for a crossing, highlighting safety issues. Residents say the road is busy with traffic, especially during school hours.
Local resident Alison Peeters started the petition. She expressed worries about children and the elderly crossing the road safely.
Hucclecote Parish Council supports the call for a crossing. They will also discuss other local issues, including flooding on Lobleys Drive.
