Wetherspoon pubs in Gloucestershire celebrate Robert Burns with a special menu featuring traditional Scottish dishes and drinks for one week only
Gloucester: Wetherspoon pubs are gearing up for a fun week. They’re celebrating Robert Burns with a special menu. This event runs from January 22 to January 28.
At The Regal and The Lord High Constable in Gloucester, plus The Moon Under Water and The Bank House in Cheltenham, you can enjoy some tasty Scottish dishes.
They’ll serve haggis, neeps, and tatties, along with a Caledonian Burger. The burger has two beef patties, haggis, and whisky sauce. It’s served with chips and onion rings.
The haggis meal costs £7.49 with a soft drink or £9.02 with an alcoholic drink. If you want something smaller, there’s a smaller haggis meal for £5.49 or £7.02.
For drinks, they have a selection of Scottish options. You can try Inveralmond Ossian beer, which is specially brewed for this event. There are also over 150 drinks available, including gins and whiskies.
Troy Langton, the manager at The Bank House, said this week-long celebration is a great chance to enjoy traditional Scottish food and drink.
